In 2008, we started to arrange new type of adventure tours. It is a gift from us for young people from different countries, who like to ride ATV. We are pioneer in this business in Mongolia and experienced and professional team in organizing auto and motorcycle adventure tours.

ATV can be your friend for your fishing, hunting, research, trekking and many other types of tours in Mongolia.

Do you want to test your skill and ride through sandy dune in golden Gobi? Or prefer adventure in forest Mountain and follow to escaping wild animals? You can ride ATV to rivers for fishing. We chose the ATV s after some research and test in different regions of the country. Medium size Yamaha “Grizzly” 350 cc ATV is the most suitable one, which is available to easily transport, good for crossing marsh and mud and not so bad speedy driving. It has enough space for luggage.

We already tested Chinese 150 cc, 250 cc 2 WD ATV s and we found some problem, which they are heavy to transport and also non starter. Also, Yamaha “Grizzly” 450 cc and 750 cc used much of petrol and too heavy to transport during the test. It required at least 4-5 people to pull out the ATV from marsh and mud. We realized that strong and big motor of the ATV might cause accidents and bring injuries to travelers. It is also proved by international practice. Hope that you are also agree with us.

Where and how you can travel by ATV?

We will arrange a tour program in any region and provinces of Mongolia, which you prefer. There is huge open space in the country and it is very suitable and fantastic to ride between two natural zones through steppe off-road. We will transport ATVs to the place, where you will enjoy with the bikes. We will provide you with all trip equipment, service jeep and mechanic/driver.

You can ride ATV in Gobi Desert /600 kms from UB/, Khovsgol Lake /850 kms from UB/ and Altai Mountain range. /1400 kms from UB/

Terelj National Park, located in just 80 kms from UB is also available for this kind of trip of 1-7 days. You will really enjoy there with off-road driving and beautiful wilderness in Mountain zone.

Samples from ATV tour programs

Terelj National Park- Khan Khentii Mount/range

This place is located in 100 kms from UB in beautiful geographic and natural scene, including fast flow rivers. There is steppe in south part of the place and Rocky Mountain in middle and forest in north parts. You will reach at the National Park from UB by a car through asphalt road then continue the trip to wilderness, where tourists uncommonly visit.

Besides off-road trip you can visit a nomadic family, see their peculiar lifestyle and culture in this region. There are many beautiful places in wilderness, where just available to reach by horse, or motorcycle or ATV. Jeep transportation is not possible. You can enjoy there for 1-7 days.

Tour program

Day1 Drive to Terelj Nat/Park and after 1 hour come to turtle Rock and start ATV riding from there. In the evening, visit Buddhist temple, located on top of Mountain. Camp in a tent at the bank of Tuul River and relax. Picnic dinner.
Day2 Continue the riding and visit a nomadic family. Afternoon visit ancient historical Gunj Temple, secretly located in forest and have picnic lunch. Road around this place is very rough in marsh. Stay at a tourist ger camp nearby. Free time in the evening.
Day3 Whole day rough off-road driving through place of Khavirgiin Davaa. Camp in a tent near Bosgo bridge.
Day4 After breakfast half day driving hiigeed Chingisiin tom hoshoond irj ATV ayllaa duusgan, tyyniigee achaad afternoon UB-t irnee.

Gobi-Desert /southern region/

You can take two hours flight to the Gobi Desert from UB and start your adventure trip by ATV directly from the airport in Dalanzadgad town in South Gobi province. Or if you prefer you can drive to the Gobi by a jeep for two days and one night. You will visit Yol, icy Valley in Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park, Bayanzag Flaming Cliff, which was rich of dinosaur fossils and eggs and Moltsog Els, small sand dunes and Khongor sand dune, lasts for tens kms. It is also available to ride to a real wilderness Khermen Tsav, located in 250 kms from Khongor sand dune. This place is really not common for tourists.

Tour program

Day1 Fly to Gobi Desert and start trip. Visit to Yol Valley in Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park, drive to Bayanzag, in the evening stay tourist camp. You can see millions of stars in beautiful Gobi sky and also lovely natural scene with sun rising in Gobi steppe.
Day2 Ride to Khongor sand dune and ride through the dune. Stay in a tent.
Day3 Ride back to Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Nat/park and stay at a tourist camp.
Day4 Early morning drive to Dalanzadgad town airport. Fly back to UB.

Central region (Kharkhorin-Orkhon waterfall-Tsenkher hot spa-Ogii lake e.t.c)

It is the main region for tourists and there are plenty of historical, cultural and also natural points to visit. You can start ATV tours after 350 kms driving through asphalt road. Nomadic family visit is also available.

Tour program

Day1 Drive to Kharkhorin, capital of ancient Mongolian Dynasty and in the evening stay at a tourist camp.
Day2 Start ATV trip and visit Erdenezuu, one of the biggest Buddhist religious heritage of Mongolia. Ride to Orkhon waterfall, stay in tent at the bank of Orhon River.
Day3 Whole day mountain off-road driving and on the way visit a nomadic family. In the evening come to Tsenkher hot spa, located in skirt of beautiful forest mountain. Stay at a tourist camp. Hot spa bath is available and it would be good relax after long driving.
Day4 Half day riding though steppe zone to Olgii Lake. Overnight in a tent at the Lake bank.
Day5 Drive to Dashinchilen village and finish ATV trip. Drive back to UB through asphalt road.

Khovsgol lake /northern region/

You can choose flight or car driving to this place. If you drive by a car you will pass through central region on the way or it is available to pass through Darkhan and Erdenet cities. There are two main routes to Khovsgol from UB.
It is available to spend 2-10 days around the lake. You can enjoy ATV riding through the bank of the Lake or it is possible to ride to Khoridol Saridgiin Nuruu Mountain, located in west bank of Khovsgol. If you cross the Mountain you can visit reindeer people, live in Darkhadiin Khotgor, forest mountain zone. It is available to travel around the place for some days.

Tour program

Day1 Fly to Moron city of Khovsgol province. Start ATV trip from the airport. Drive to Khatgal town for 101 kms and reach at the Lake. Cross Jankhain Davaa Mountain and stay at a tourist camp or tent.
Day2 4 Trip program for clients.
Day3 Drive back to Moron and fly to UB.
